Obligatory monthly blog.

Since the advent of Twitter, my blogging has basically come to a halt. Which is a shame… not that I had important things to say often, but things I had to say were important to me… I suppose. With twitter, it’s tough to recall tweets from the past due to the quantity of my tweets. Most of my tweets or more online conversations rather than epiphanies.

So, here are random thoughts I’ve had…

  • I’m fairly oblivious to my surroundings. If you’ve known me awhile, you probably are aware of this. I won’t notice some things that are blatantly obvious, even if I was staring it in the face. Someone would basically have to yell, “JEFF! PAY F’ING ATTENTION! IT’S RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR NOSE!” or something like that.
  • My level of confidence has slowly deteriorated over the years. It’s not like I was a cocky bastard or anything, perhaps the things I used to be confident about, don’t matter much anymore. I probably should focus on regaining that confidence, or gaining confidence on things that are relevant… or something
  • I watch too much TV.
  • I miss my peeps, you know who you are… for life.
  • I want to travel again… yes, I know, I spent a month and a half traveling the US back in September/October, living out of a suitcase, that was so fun, and I want to do it again soon… perhaps in Europe or Australia… where I can crash on my peeps couches, I’m sure you wouldn’t mind… right? But it’s probably not the time… don’t want to kill another chunk of my savings, do I? I’m just glad I have this cushion… this rainy day money…

You know… I always start out a blog motivated. Somewhere at the end I usually get distracted… this is one of those times. At least I blogged again…
