TWiRTs: This Week in ReTweets 5/21/2011
I promised to try to put a photo from the week on each edition of TWiRTs… this was taken during a sneak preview for the reimagined Star Tours. It was fun… but enough of that, here’s the RTs for the week:
- May 15, 2011: @missimmons Getting My Hair Done
- This was a reply to Power Player Amanda who was wondering if people could still read pager code. The translation was that, here’s the code: 6377176 1774 43212 00173. - May 16, 2011: Wait… @BigBoyler is on @teamcoco Wednesday! Wish I had tickets. When it airs, I can say “Did you see that ludicrous display last night???”
- “BigBoyler” is Chris O’Dowd’s twitter handle. He is from the hit UK show “The IT Crowd” and the hit film “Bridesmaids”, the quote was from one of my favorite “The IT Crowd” episodes. - May 16, 2011: “The light is red you bloody scallywag.”
- This was a quote from the cute kid on the show “House”. House and Cuddy were on the way to the hospital, House wanted to run the red light and the kid said this in a pirate like voice. It was cute. - May 17, 2011: Woot (@ Star Tours w/ 27 others) http://4sq.com/kPzjsY
- I had the opportunity to ride Star Tours, and I was really impressed. Loved what they did to it. - May 17, 2011: Ha, @mrosenbaum711, nice break dancing… #BreakingIn
- Michael Rosenbaum plays Dutch on the possibly cancelled possible saved tv show “Breaking In”. If it’s cancelled, it will be before its time. - May 18, 2011: Wilfred has to be one of the stupidest show ideas ever… happy birthday ;-)
- My friend Taffy has got wood for Elijah Wood, who stars in this random show called Wilfred, about some guy who sees a dog for what he actually is… a guy dressed in a dog costume, while everyone else sees well… an actual dog. It was Taffy’s bday this day too, and I thought I’d make this amusing comment about a show that really should be a web series at best. - May 19, 2011: I was waiting for Catherine Tate to say “Am I boverred? Do I look boverred?” #TheOffice
- And finally, the season finale of my favorite show, The Office. They’re looking for a new manager, and Catherine Tate was a possibility. Her character is good friends with the boss Jo, and although her interview didn’t go so well, she might have the extra edge to take over Michael Scott’s position. Catherine Tate is awesome, and it would be a privilege for Americans to see what she has to offer for fans of “The Office”.
There you have it. A lite week in RTs… which saves me time and effort doing this blog… not that this blog is much effort at all. See ya next week.
